This is a very beautiful antique Atmos Clock. The 519 Atmos is one of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most sturdy models, the plates and movement are heavy duty and thicker than newer models. The floating intermediate wheel (below hands) is unique to this caliber. The bridge and movement are held together with blued steel screws, the hardest chemical state of steel.
The case has an excellent shine. The clock has been cleaned, oiled, mainspring oiled, and the bellows have been inspected for proper function. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Perpetual Motion Clock will continue to keep precise time for many decades. This is a stunning piece for any collector or Atmos enthusiast. The high quality Swiss manufacture is unparalleled. These clocks power on 1-2 degree temperature change and require no winding. This will elegantly provide extremely accurate time on any mantle or desk.
